My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A Second Chance for a Gentle Heart!

Meet Benny, a 3-year-old gray tabby with a soft soul. Life has recently thrown Benny some curveballs. After losing his beloved owner, he found himself in a shelter, a place full of new sights, sounds, and experiences that have left him feeling nervous and unsure.

When Benny first arrived, his coat was heavily matted, but after a fresh shave during his recent neuter and dental, he’s feeling much lighter and more comfortable! He’s also carrying a few extra pounds from a past life full of treats. Benny is now looking for a caring companion to help him reach a healthy weight safely and gently.

Benny would thrive in a quiet, calm home—a sanctuary where he can take his time to adjust and learn that the world can feel safe again. He’s looking for someone patient, kind, and consistent, who understands that trust is earned slowly and lovingly. A structured diet and steady encouragement will help him get back to his happiest, healthiest self.

Benny may take a little time to open up, but for the right person, he will offer loyalty, affection, and a lifetime of gentle companionship. Could you be the one to give him the second chance he deserves?

Benny is neutered, up-to-date on core vaccinations (feline distemper, rabies), has received flea preventative, deworming, and is microchipped.
