My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Dash is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and will be coming to NJ 2/21.

Meet Dash, a 10-month-old, 25-pound hound mix who’s equal parts silly, sweet, and totally irresistible. This boy didn’t have the best start — he was found dumped in a yard and left to fend for himself — but you’d never guess it now. After some good food, care, and love, Dash has blossomed into a happy, goofy puppy who is living for every moment.

Dash loves to play, chase toys, and hang out with his dog friends. He’s got a big personality in a small body — if he wants a toy or a turn on the couch, he’ll politely (okay, maybe not so politely) bark until he gets his way. Typical hound charm.
He’s house-trained, uses the doggy door like a pro, rides great in the car, and loves any adventure that includes his people. Being a hound, he’s got a mild interest in digging — he just likes to “redecorate” the yard from time to time.

Dash is sweet-natured, even-tempered, and ready for a forever home that will give him love, playtime, and a few sturdy toys to call his own. He gets along well with other dogs and would love a canine buddy, though we’re not sure about cats just yet.
If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate sidekick who’s as goofy as he is brave, Dash is your guy!

Dash is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. His   adoption fee is $550.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
