Beau is a big sweetie. 65 lbs of love and attention seeking! He is dog aggressive, but has never met a human he doesnt already love, despite a background of abuse and neglect. As far as we know he was pulled off the street as a puppy then neglected for several years in a small apartment without much outdoor access. He has been with us for about 3-4 years now. The big issue is hes not getting the attention and time he deserves. He doesnt like playing in the yard alone but we havent been able to get him out on regular walks since we had 2 kids. He isnt aggressive or rough with the babies at all but he doesnt see them as more than moving furniture. He will run right over them.. but also accepts snacks from them gently. He doesnt really enjoy their pets.
Hes not hard to control with his pinch collar on walks when we see other dogs but we play it very safe. He just wants to be cuddled. All day!
