Say hello to Mr. Crowley ! He came into our shelter with his brother, Lucifer the cat, whom he`s spent his entire life with. Unlike his brother, Crowley is quite active and adventurous. He can be a bit of an escape artist that yearns for the outdoors, so he might do well in a home with a catio, harness training, or other means of supervised travel. One of his favorite activities is to hunt, though his targets are often toilet paper rolls while he shows no interest in small creatures. Some of Crowley`s favorite interests - which he shares with Lucifer - includes catnip, fresh tuna, and robot cat toys that spin around. At night, his preferred sleeping spot is right on top of you, keeping nice and warm. If he`s comfortable with you, he doesn`t mind a tummy rub or two, but it depends on his mood for the day.
In his previous home, he shared a space with several dogs, other cats, children ranging from infants to teenagers, and even a rabbit that was being fostered. If you`re interested in Lucifer, we highly recommend taking his brother Lucifer with him too, as they`ve never been apart as long as they`ve been around. Adopters must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license or government-issued ID, provide payment, and be required to sign the adoption contract.
We cannot finalize adoptions over the phone or online. This is a family decision; everyone in the adopter’s household is encouraged to meet the animal at the shelter. The actual adoption visit takes place in designated areas and typically lasts 10-15 minutes. During this time, you will be able to spend some quality time getting to know the animal and deciding if they are a match for your home. At the end of the visit, if it’s a match, GREAT! In keeping with the desire to limit visits, our expectations are that you are prepared to take the animal home the same day. If you are interested in adopting a dog, and you have a dog (or dogs) at home, they must successfully meet each other before completing the adoption.
