Luke is a 7-year-old Standard Poodle who is smart, goofy (he loves to smile and sneeze for attention), and incredibly sweet. He is wonderful with children and gets along very well with other animals.
Luke does struggle with anxiety and is sensitive to being left home alone and to traveling. Due to my busy schedule, which keeps me away from home and requires frequent travel, Luke has been struggling, and I believe he would do best in a home where someone is able to be around more consistently.
Luke is looking for a home that can offer a steady routine, patience, reassurance, and companionship so he can truly thrive. He is a retired stud male and, as a result, may occasionally mark indoors. This is manageable with the use of belly bands and regular bathroom breaks every few hours, which have been effective for him.
This decision has been made with Luke's best interest at heart, as he needs more consistency and companionship than I can currently provide.
