My name is Winnie!

Winnie is a precious girl. We bought her from a friend-of-a-friend who was venturing into breeding labradoodles. We had always wanted a hypoallergenic dog because we have children with cystic fibrosis. Even though we discovered that she is definitely not hypoallergenic, she became a dear member of our household and we have had her for 4 years.

We are very sad to come to the point that the most loving thing we can do for her is to rehome her. Two years ago, Winnie began having seizures, which require medication to manage. She also developed a pretty rough skin allergy and just needs more care than we are able to afford + give her with our own special needs children. Though she doesn’t shed more than your average dog, it’s too much for our childrens’ sensitive respiratory systems.

Winnie will make an absolutely delightful pet. She really is a dream dog- loving, calm + playful. We are heartbroken to give her up but know it is the right next step for her and for our family.
