This helps San Diego Humane Society - Oceanside Campus (Cats and Small Animals) with pet care costs.
How this pet arrived:
Pony was brought in by their previous owner on January 29, 2026.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Pony! Pony is a little adventurous, a little quirky and full of potential. This curious guy loves to explore and is looking for a home where he can continue life as an indoor/outdoor cat. He's an independent soul who prefers a quieter home without young kids, where he can settle in at his own pace. Pony may take a little time to warm up to new people and places, but with patience and consistency, his personality truly shines. He'll do best starting out with his own room or office as a cozy home base, giving him the chance to adjust at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, Pony is known to form strong bonds with his person-and don't be surprised when he starts claiming your bed, your couch, and your heart. Pony will need to stay indoors for 6 weeks before gaining safe outdoor access to ensure a smooth and safe transition. With a gentle adopter who respects his pace and enjoys earning a cat's trust, Pony will blossom into a loving and loyal companion. Please remember to bring a hard-sided cat carrier for his ride home!
Shy/Fearful Cat: Pony requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.
