Our Miniature Goldendoodle, Govis (Gaw-vis), will be two in April. We got him from a breeder in July 2024. He loves to cuddle and play. He is very energetic. He loves adults, kids, other dogs, and everybody. We live near a popular walking spot, and practically become the neighborhood's dog because he's so friendly.
He is housebroken, knows basic commands. He is quick to learn and is eager to please. He's in good health; at his vet visit in September, the only issue was an ear infection that we took care of. He will come with basic dog care items.
We recently had a third child, and Govis loves the baby. Our older kids are not as gentle with Govis as they should be, but he is remarkably patient with them. He has his limits but has never been vicious and is very forgiving. We just don't have the bandwidth to police their actions, care for a baby, and a dog. It took a long time to decide to part ways with Govis. He really is a good dog, it’s just not the right fit for our family.
