Meet Mr. Cooper. Cooper and his siblings were part of an unwanted litter living beneath the front porch of a rural Tennessee home. Concerned neighbors noticed the puppies were not confined and that no one was caring for them. Fearing for their safety, especially after learning they were not being fed regularly, a neighbor intervened and rescued the puppies just before snow and ice swept through Middle Tennessee.

The puppies are now healthy, happy, and ready for their forever families to find them. Cooper is the shy one but still a wonderful little guy. Once he warms up to you, he will not leave you alone. Cooper just needs a little love to trust you and then he is ready to go. His favorite place is your lap so be ready to make room. Cooper is a mix of Collie, Australian Shepherd, and Blue Heeler. He is 13 weeks old. Cooper enjoys playing with his brothers and sister as well as the other dogs in his foster home. He even plays with the household cats. Cooper is working on potty training and has it almost mastered. He just needs to remember why he went outside so he doesn't get side tracked. Cooper is crate-trained and spends time in an inside pen when no one is home to watch him.

Cooper is neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations, and microchipped. Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.
