What we know: Puppies were transferred to Colorado Puppy Rescue from Littlefield Pet Haven (Texas). Per partner notes, the puppies are from a litter of 5 aged at 7 months old. Due to their size, CPR was unable to intake the full litter at once - two siblings were taken in two weeks prior. One puppy from the litter was adopted in Texas prior to transfer. Per surrender information, the owner reported the puppies were becoming too large to keep and surrendered the litter.
From the foster: Meet Pancake 🥞
Pancake is a sweet, tender soul who just needs a little reassurance to shine. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with her toys. She’s currently learning her manners—sit and shake are in progress—and she’s bravely working on going down the stairs, which can still feel a bit scary for her. Pancake is looking for a patient, loving home where she can take her time to settle in, build confidence, and feel safe. With kindness and consistency, this gentle girl will be a wonderful companion.

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
