My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Doodle Bug 🐞🐶💛
Proof that good things come with curls—and a sense of humor.

Doodle Bug is an 8-year-old male Labradoodle weighing 45 lbs, and he’s basically a professional love sponge. This guy is very sweet, obsessed with attention, and firmly believes your hands exist solely for petting him. Stop scratching? He will gently remind you. Immediately.

He’s potty trained (because he’s a classy gentleman) and has traded in his wild puppy days for a lifestyle focused on cuddles, naps, and being told he’s a good boy—which he absolutely is. Doodle Bug was rescued from a kill shelter, and he’s making up for lost time by loving hard.

Doodle Bug is heartworm positive, but don’t let that scare you off—he’s already got the hardest part mastered: being sweet, patient, and cooperative. He’s ready for a calm, loving home where he can heal, relax, and soak up all the affection he’s been missing (preferably on a comfy couch).

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion with a goofy name, soulful eyes, and endless gratitude, Doodle Bug is ready to crawl right into your heart—and probably your lap too 🐞💗

Adoption fee is: $350

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
