Do you like other cats? I DO NOT like other cats. I have to be the only cat in the house.
What do you think about living with a dog? I do not like dogs either, I need to be the only animal in the house.
How do you feel about kids? I`ve never been around kids before. I might do well with older cat savvy kids but would like to meet them first before going to live with them.
What was your previous home like? I lived indoors only with a few cats and dog that I did not like.
What’s your ideal home like? A home where I am the only animal and where I`ll get lots of love, attention and playtime.
Is there anything else we should know about you? My previous owner said some of my favorite activities are cuddles, sleeping under the covers, playing fetch with toy mice and balls, and exploring carboard boxes and tall scratchers! I am a talkative lap cat look a home where I can be the center of attention!

Shelter Hours are 11 AM - 6 PM every day of the week.
Adoption fees vary. Dogs, cats, and rabbits are all spayed or neutered before adoption, include initial vaccinations, a microchip for I.D., and a certificate for a free health check at a number of local veterinarians.

We're located on Greenhill Road between W. 11th and Royal Avenues, approximately 3 miles south of the airport. Directions from east or west: From the east, take the Beltline or surface streets to Barger Rd, or West 11th, and head west to Greenhill Rd. Turn left on Greenhill Rd (from Barger) or right from West 11th; we're approximately a mile down the road. From the west, take Hwy. 126 to Greenhill Rd., turn left at Greenhill Rd.

Greenhill Humane Society has been caring for animals in Lane County since 1944. We operate the only animal shelter within the Eugene/Springfield area. Our programs include animal adoptions; reuniting lost animals with their families; disaster response; crisis care boarding in situations of domestic violence, medical emergencies, and other crisis situations; spay/neuter for free roaming, un-owned community cats; a pet pantry; on-site volunteer opportunities; foster care and humane education.
Last year, we helped reunite or find new loving homes for 2,826 animals. In addition, we provided 469 cat spay/neuter surgeries to assist cat caregivers in reducing feral cat over-population.
Greenhill is a private non-profit and relies on donations for a majority of its budget. The generosity of our local community enables us to provide a high level of care to lost, abandoned, and neglected animals while at the same time helping pet owners in need.
