When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!
What we know: Stray / Public Drop-Off – Española Humane. Approximately 1 year, 10 months old at intake. Completed an 8-week Prison “Paws in the Pen” training program.
From the foster: Oakley came to us with built in training. After a couple of months in the slammer (i.e. an 8 week prison training program) he is ready to start his new life. And while he has had a jump start on his training, he still needs work with his leash skills (he is very strong!). But not to worry, he comes with a manual from his trainer so you can continue to help him work on his skills. He has also some instances of resource guarding and should have a structured environment to continue his training. Oakley would probably do best with an active human to keep him busy and no cats.
