Moxie was adopted from foster care in Florida. She is very energetic and likes attention. She also loves to lay down and sleep wherever you are. She is very protective of our family and home. However, we have another female dog in our home and they do not get along and have hade very severe fights. We have tried for years to make it better. Nothing has worked. So they have to be on either side of our Den, on leashes hooked to the wall. We take them outside to play and walk them several times a day but that’s not always possible. They do not get to roam around their own home and we have to sit on the floor with them to give hugs and snuggles. These dogs may live another 8-10 years and it’s no way to live. Moxie is the youngest and we feel she will adjust better to a home where she is the only dog, no small kids, and has lots of room to roam around and play. Our hearts are broken but it’s not about us, it’s about what’s best for her.
