If you bred Benji to a Bassett hound... Coop is what you would get! (AKA Muncita, #a5720670), we pulled Coop from the shelter on August 30, 2025! He is only 8 years old, but he has several lumps and bumps on his body, and no one was going to adopt this dog. We found a wonderful foster who's willing to give him a home until we can find a forever home. He is the sweetest little dog. The shelter listed him as a poodle, but he's really a terrier, basset hound mix. Look how his little front toes turn out. He is the sweetest thing. He's great with people. He's great with other dogs. He went to the veterinarian. His bloodwork was great. The vet did suggest removing the small lump on his foot before it grew larger. We removed it on October 6, 2025. We had an adopter lined up before the surgery, but the adoption fell through to no fault of Coop. When we first pulled Coop, he was shy and scared. Now he is outgoing and friendly. This is what fostering does! It helps the dogs! Save a life and join our team today! Coop is ready for his forever home!

we keep our fees low to encourage adoptions of senior dogs. Our kitten fees are based on cost to S/N, vaccinate and chip them.
