This helps Happy Feet Pet Rescue with pet care costs.
Tommy is a playful and affectionate cat. He is very good at climbing and likes to climb up to the top of the cat tree and across the cat shelves to sit in the windows and watch the birds and squirrels. He is smart and inquisitive and likes to see if he can find an opening or new place to explore. He is a social kitty but does fine on his own while his fosters are working. He also likes to snuggle and has a soothing purr. His favorite game is the feather wand toy but he does also play with small balls, running after them and sometimes bringing them back for another round.
He did have a rough time of it out on his own in the neighborhood with the feral cats. He was injured by them when he came into rescue, and so he will need a slow introduction to other cats. But he did get along with some of the nice neighborhood pet cats. He is non-reactive to calm, docile dogs but seems a tad anxious when near dominant energetic dogs. Tommy is making much progress learning to play more gently. He is very good about going in his foster room for bedtime and when we need him to, listening right away and going in. He snuggles with both his foster mother and his foster father, who plays a lot with him before bedtime.
