My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gio is a 1-year-old happy-go-lucky pup with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. He’s still learning his basic commands and could use a little polishing on his manners, but he’s eager to please—especially when treats are involved! Gio absolutely loves toys, adventures, and being right by your side for snuggles. He’s the kind of dog who greets life with enthusiasm, a playful spirit, and a big, adorable smile that’s guaranteed to brighten your day. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving companion who’s ready to learn and explore the world with you, Gio is your guy.

Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter

Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
