Bella is an 8 year old, 57 lb Dutch Shepherd/Chow Mix Female that we rescued from Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control. Her owners surrendered her because they could not afford to care for her. Bella arrived at the shelter in visible distress and with obvious signs of a vaginal infection. It was soon determined that Bella had bladder stones and a UTI. The shelter performed surgery on Bella and removed an astounding amount of 22 bladder stones! Bella now requires prescription Royal Canin Urinary Dog Food to avoid future stones from forming. She is a super sweet and affectionate dog, who would benefit from an adopter who is home most of the day and has no other pets. She is the perfect dog for a retired person with a fenced yard. Bella walks well on a leash, but she will pull to chase a lizard or squirrel. Bella has the most soulful eyes, she is longing for someone to connect with and keep her safe and loved for her golden years.
