Lizzy is a stunning, purebred Himalayan with soulful blue eyes and the sweetest little mustache. Her life recently changed when her family surrendered her after a divorce, and while at the shelter she became sick with a severe upper respiratory infection that affected her eye. With proper medical care, Lizzy has healed well and is now medically cleared. She may need simple daily eye drops long-term, but nothing complicated or costly.
Lizzy is a gentle, sensitive girl who appreciates a calm and predictable environment. She enjoys peaceful companionship and does best when allowed to settle in at her own pace. Like many Himalayans, she’s more reserved at first, but with patience and consistency she has the potential to blossom once she feels safe and secure.
Lizzy has been through several transitions in a short time, and she’s still finding her footing. In a quiet, loving home where she can feel secure, there’s every reason to believe her confidence and her true personality will continue to come out and grow.
Because she was previously an outdoor only cat, Lizzy is still adjusting to indoor life and sharing space. She would likely do best as the only cat or with a calm, respectful feline companion. Meet the Pet
We bring the pet to you at your home for a visit and we complete a home check at that point. Anyone who declines a home visit will be denied

At Anna Rescues Kittens, every life matters. We are a small but dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue focused on saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats and kittens in need. Our adoption process is thorough and designed to ensure each cat is placed in a safe, loving, and lifelong home.
Our adoption process includes:
• Veterinary reference checks
• Personal referral checks
• Phone interview
• Home visit
• Adoption questionnaire
• Finalized adoption paperwork
This detailed process helps us match each cat with the right family and ensure they will be loved and cared for for the rest of their lives.
Adoption Fee: $180
This fee helps cover the extensive veterinary care each kitten receives before going home. Every kitten is fully vetted by a licensed veterinarian at a trusted local animal hospital and receives:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• Microchip for permanent identification
• Rabies vaccine
• FDRC vaccine
• FeLV/FIV testing
• Deworming
• Fecal testing
• Nail trim
• Complete veterinary exam

Adoption Requirements
To ensure the best possible match for our animals and adopters, we have a few important requirements:
✅ Must be a U.S. citizen and Virginia resident
✅ Must live within 130 miles of Richmond, VA
✅ Must be 18 years or older
✅ Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID
✅ Must agree to a home visit (via FaceTime or at meet and greet)
✅ Must provide three personal references and a vet reference
✅ Must provide proof of residence and pet allowance (mortgage or lease)
🚫 We cannot approve applicants who:
• Smoke cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, or vape inside the home
• Have been convicted of animal cruelty, neglect, or abandonment
• Have a history of child abuse, domestic violence, or neglect
• Use illegal substances in the home
• Submit incomplete or dishonest applications

What started as a simple TNR mission turned into a life-changing calling. Since then, we’ve grown into a small, dedicated rescue that works tirelessly to save the most vulnerable lives.
