Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Miss Myra. She’s a real stunner with her milk chocolate coat and beautiful blue eyes. She’s also a very special young gal. Myra’s ideal adopters will be patient people who understand that Myra is very shy and uncertain in new situations. It will take her time to become comfortable with her new people and in her new home. Her people should provide her with the time she needs to settle in. Myra may also benefit from having a canine brother or sister in her new home, one who can show her the ropes and help he build her confidence.
Once she’s feeling settled in, Myra’s fun side will emerge, and her people will find themselves with a smart, silly and adorable canine companion. She’ll want to play games, run around, explore outside and be the awesome family dog she deserves to be.
Additionally, Myra is a smart cookie and would be a good candidate for training classes (like the ones we offer here at AWS). She’ll love to learn new things, and training classes are a great way to bond. She’ll wow her people with her smarts and graduate with honors!

We look forward to helping to match you with your new best friend and supporting you throughout the adoption process. AWS regularly cares for and houses dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and small animals. For most pets, adopters can drop-in during our open hours, without needing to schedule an appointment or fill out any paperwork in advance. For pets in foster care (as indicated on their profile), please call to schedule an appointment to meet the pet at AWS.
All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis.
