My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Milk
current location : S.Korea
Weight: 41 lb (21 kg)
Age: 1 year old (18 months)
Sex: Male
Neutered: Yes
Medical Issues:
Very healthy, no history of illnesses
Breed: Jindo Mix
Color: Ivory / light cream
Personality:
Milk is very affectionate with his primary caregiver and loves cuddling, sitting on laps, and leaning against people. He is quite intelligent—smart enough to figure out how to open the front door.
He is energetic, curious, and playful, but also a bit shy at first. However, he loves people and warms up quickly thanks to his affectionate nature.
He truly enjoys walks and outdoor activities and still has some puppy-like mischief and playfulness.
Interaction with Women:
Tends to prefer women
Interaction with Men:
Since his main caregiver is female, he has limited experience with men, but he can become friendly if approached slowly
Interaction with Children:
Limited experience, except for meeting a friend’s young daughter when he was younger
Interaction with Other Dogs:
Generally does well with dogs of similar age, but may occasionally have conflicts with male dogs.
Can be reactive to other dogs
Interaction with Cats:
No direct experience with cats; gets excited when seeing neighborhood stray cats
House Training:
Completed; still uses an indoor pee pad for urination
Crate Training:
Completed
Energy Level:
5 / 10
Handling:
Can be handled by his primary caregiver for nail trimming, tooth brushing, and bathing
Barking Tendencies:
Barks when strangers visit the yard or house; occasionally barks to demand something
Escape Tendencies:
Sometimes runs away playfully with shoes
Appetite:
Eats very well
Current Diet:
Dry kibble, cooked meals, and raw food
Leash Walking:
Walks well on leash with a collar
Reactivity on Leash (to people or dogs):
Barks initially when unfamiliar people visit the home; tends to be reactive toward other dogs
Car Rides:
Rides well, but pants due to nervousness
Destructive Behavior:
Likes to tear up tissues and cushions, so items should be kept out of reach
Needs a Home with a Yard:
Not required
Needs a Home with Another Dog:
Prefers to be the only dog
Apartment Living:
Suitable for apartment living
Rescue Story:
Milk was rescued as one of six puppies born to a stray mother dog who repeatedly gave birth in a rural village.
He has been fostered in a home environment since he was about 2 months old.

Additional adoption info

Post-Adoption Support and Check-Ins
After your dog has settled in, we will periodically check in with you to ensure the adjustment process is going smoothly. This is a time to discuss your dog’s progress and address any questions or concerns you may have.

Our team is always here to provide guidance as needed during the transition to your new life together. All adopters must agree to provide periodic update of the adopted pet. Instagram account is highly recommended. All adopters must sign up for GPS tracker for 6 months to avoid losing pets.

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized. Therefore, we can not provide the "meet and greet." Multiple video clips will be provided and we will help you walk through the steps to reassure the adopted dog and the adopter are the best match for each other. Some dogs are available for meet and greet if the dogs are fostered in the US.
