Meet our feral cat, Ben!

Ben, a 3-year old male cat, is a remarkable adult cat with a spirit of adventure. Known for his curiosity and intelligence, Ben is the perfect companion for those who appreciate an independent and brave feline. While he prefers a home without young children and is not fond of being touched, he excels as an indoor mouser, making him an invaluable roommate.

Ben's self-sufficient nature and keen instincts make him ideal for a quiet, adult-only household. Consider giving Ben a chance to enrich your life with his unique personality.

Ben gets along with other cats that do not go after him or dominate him. He does not like human touch or wants to be pet. He is fine being around you but that is the extent. He has not been around dogs so a home without one is best. Small kids are not recommended as we do not know how he would react to them.

He would make a great indoor (only as he lost all of his winter fur) mouser. He cannot live outside or be a outdoor cat right away as he may not come back.

Submit Application

Fill out an application in person or on our website: www.pphsc.com. We will then call you to set up a meet and greet!

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once you submit/fill out an application, stop in and meet our animals. Before you can take an animal home, your application must be approved

3.
Approve Application

Once you find your cat or dog, and your application is approved, you can take your cat or dog home!

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees for cats are $125, kittens are $150-$170 and dogs/puppies are $250-$350. We ask for references from potential adopters and we have an application that must be filled out so that you can be approved. You must also pass a background check before we'll proceed with any adoption. Once approved, you will be ready to adopt and fill out our final paperwork. If you rent a home or live in an apartment, we need consent from your landlord before the pet leaves our facility. The adoption fee must be paid in full before the animal leaves us.
