My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***AVAILABLE ON-SITE FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS ONLY***

Total Adoption Fee: $695
This includes our standard adoption fee of $395 plus an additional required $300 tax-deductible donation. Why the additional donation? Dogs with highly desirable traits—such as non-shedding coats or popular breeds—help us fund lifesaving care for dogs who need it most, including nursing moms, dogs with traumatic injuries, and those requiring heartworm treatment (i.e. dogs who require more intensive medical treatment and care prior to adoption). Your generosity makes this possible!

Have you ever wanted a dog that will greet you at the door, tail wagging, big smile on their face? Then Molson is the dog for you. Molson is the kind of dog who can't decide who to follow when there is more than one person in the house, then you learn he simply wants everyone in the same place for fun, love, and cuddles. He seems to be mostly house trained and communicates when he needs to go out by running around and landing by the door. He's also very food motivated, so he should be easy to train.

Molson has a good amount of energy and loves to frolic and play inside and out. When you're playing, he's playing. Yet when you're chilling, he will chill, although sometimes it takes a bit of playing or a quick walk first if he gets over-excited. He loves nothing more than a good lap to sit on and is the definition of a cuddle bug. Molson is also a quiet dog, with the exception of an occasional whine when he's not getting enough attention from you! However, as he feels more comfortable with you, that need for attention dissipates. Occasionally he will scruff and gruff when he sees something outside, but loud barks are a rarity. All in all, Molson may be one of the closest you'll get to a perfect dog -- chill when you need, playful when you want him to be, and I mean... look at that face!

Additional adoption info

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please complete an Adoption Application at our website: savinggracenc.org

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.

More about this rescue

Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.

We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption. If you would like more information about adopting one of our dogs, please email savinggrace@savinggracenc.org
