My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vincent was cared for as a beloved stray for many years, looked out for by a dedicated caretaker who stepped in when he was injured. That’s when Vincent joined our program and honestly, it became clear pretty fast that this boy was meant for the indoor life. Give him a big ol’ couch, a cozy blanket, and a human nearby, and he’s living his best dream.

Vincent is the epitome of a chill tomcat. He loves attention, loves naps, and has mastered the art of relaxing. He’s the kind of cat who just wants to be near you, soaking up the good life.

Vinny V is FIV-positive, which means his immune system isn’t quite as strong as a typical cat’s. FIV is not casually contagious, it can only be spread through deep bite wounds, usually from serious fights. It is not spread through sharing food bowls, grooming, cuddling, or using the same litter box. In fact, his caretaker shared that Vincent happily shared food with her own cat without issue. With a calm personality like his, Vincent is a great candidate for a peaceful home and can often live safely with other friendly cats.

Vincent is ready to trade life on the streets for a soft couch, steady meals, and someone who will love him for the sweet, laid-back guy he is.
