My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper is a 12.5 year old black lab mix. We've had since he was a puppy and has been the absolute best family dog we could have hoped for. He helped raise our two boys and has traveled all over the country with us on adventures, more than once. We are absolutely devastated to have to rehome him, but we are unfortunately going to have to travel abroad for an extensive period (might be permanent) to care for an elderly parent. There's no easy way to take him along, and at his age it would be just too much. He is mostly deaf and his eyesight is also not the best these days. We would rather he see out his days in a stable and loving home where he can enjoy his retirement.

He is incredibly laid-back and mellow. Obviously great with kids. No problem with cats or other dogs. He has no special medical needs or allergies, and his declining hearing and eyesight is the only thing we're aware of.

Please consider offering this old good boy a new home. He deserves the best.
