My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our latest resident ingenue at Muttville has travelled all the way from Schitt’s Creek in Canada (just kidding, she came to us from Marley's Mutts when her owner had to go to a nursing home): Moira Rose! This sweet senior cocker spaniel is as cute as she is dramatic, entering rooms with all of the flair and presence you’d expect from her namesake. This brown and white beauty has floppy ears, wavy fur, and a constantly wagging tail. Described as truly special, calm, loving, and incredibly kind, you can tell this little lady was well loved and we want to find her the perfect place to spend her senior years. If you’re missing that special someone in your life, come meet Moira Rose!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Please submit an adoption questionnaire for the mutt(s) you are interested in. We will be in touch within 24 hours to connect!

2.

Meet the Pet

If you know who you're interested in, we'll arrange a meeting in person or virtually. If you're still browsing, come to an adoption event!

3.

Take the Pet Home

If you'd like to adopt we have a short finalization process and then you get to take your new dog home!

Additional adoption info

All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

If you know who you're interested in, fill out our questionnaire at muttville.org/how_to_adopt and we'll arrange a meeting either at our HQ or virtually with your mutt's foster parent. (Many of our lucky mutts live in foster homes!)

If you're still browsing, stop by our extraordinary new home at 750 Florida St. during open hours Tuesday through Sunday 11am-4pm, or come to an adoption event and meet a lot of dogs at once!
