My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mittens is an eight-year-old friendly gal who’s easy to handle and easy to adore. She’s a bigger girl with a plush figure, and while she’s perfectly content just the way she is, she could benefit from a gentle weight-loss journey to help her feel her best.

Because Mittens is currently a little extra fluffy, she sometimes struggles to reach certain, shall we say… hard-to-access areas during grooming. Her arms are simply not long enough for the job she’s trying to do back there. As a result, she may need a helping hand from her humans now and then to keep everything tidy and comfortable — she promises to be very appreciative (and probably a little embarrassed).

Mittens is a quiet, calm kitty who doesn’t ask for much. Her favorite place is right beside you, warming the couch, the chair, or the bed while keeping you company with her peaceful presence. She’s not demanding or high-energy — just a gentle soul who enjoys closeness and a relaxed home.

If you’re looking for a mellow companion who will happily share your space, accept your affection, and maybe even let you help her with a little self-care along the way, Mittens might just be your perfect match.

Meet Mittens at our adoption partner, PetSmart. The address is 1779 Stone Church Road East, Stoney Creek.
