Hi! My name is Stego, and my foster dad says I am currently in my "tough guy" era. Meaning, I'll growl at any toy while simultaneously being scared of my own shadow. Its ok though because he says I'll grow out of it :D
Otherwise I love to follow my foster dad around the house like a shadow, and supervise any tasks he does around the house. I have tons of energy but still save time to sit in laps and purr nonstop.
Im pretty inquisitive and love to play and explore, so it would be great to go to a home with another pet for a play buddy or with some kids. I love the constant attention :D

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!
The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.
Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.
