He has a playful side, too! Chasing little balls, batting feather wands, and birdwatching from a cozy window perch are some of his favorite activities. When playtime winds down, Midnight is all about the cuddles. He’s easy to pick up, happily settles into your lap, and loves stretching out on your chest for warm, purring snuggle sessions.
Midnight is also quite the conversationalist, greeting you with the sweetest chirpy meow to share updates about his day. In his foster home, he gently tries to befriend the resident cats and is wonderfully respectful if they’re not interested—no hissing, no growling, no drama. Estimated to be 2–3 years old and weighing about 10.5 pounds, Midnight was found as a stray. With his large, plush frame and magnificent bushy tail, we suspect there may be a bit of Maine Coon in his family tree. The majority of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs or as a companion to another young cat/kitten already in the home. Sorry, but we do not adopt very young kittens to families with children under 6 yrs old due to safety concerns for both child and kitten. Adopters also receive a certificate for a free comprehensive wellness exam at any Caring Hands Animal Hospital.

We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and rely on a group of dedicated foster homes to care for our felines until a "fur-ever" home can be found. We actively promote the importance of spaying and neutering and best practices in companion animal care. The majority of our cats/kittens come from high-kill shelters. We do not receive any government funding and rely on private contributions, 100% of which go to provide medical care, food and supplies.
