My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chili is a 9-month-old domestic shorthair with the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. This curious, adventurous girl loves attention and will happily seek you out for playtime, snuggles, and whatever fun is happening around her. She’s playful and smart, and she adores interactive toys that keep her busy and engaged.Like her name suggests, Chili has a little heat—she enjoys play, but she’s confident about setting boundaries and will let you know when she’s had enough. Because of her spicy side, she’s best suited for a home with children over the age of 10, and meet-and-greets are required prior to adoption.Chili has never lived with dogs, so any canine siblings would need slow, proper introductions. She’ll thrive in a home that offers plenty of toys, scratching posts, and ideally a cat tree where she can climb, observe, and reign over her domain. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate cat with personality to spare, Chili might just be the perfect dash of spice your home needs.
If you are interested in meeting Chili or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10a-4pm.
