This sweet young lady is a deeply affectionate, people oriented kitty who truly thrives on love, interaction, and companionship. She has been an only pet in a quiet, adult only home for over a year, where she has enjoyed being the center of attention and she has fully embraced that role!
She has IBD, but it is very well managed on her prescription special food. As long as she stays on her diet, she does great and has had no issues. She is proof that special needs cats can still live happy, playful, love-filled lives.
Her personality is a wonderful mix of playful, curious, and cuddly: She carries her wand toy to you when she wants to play and yes, she even plays fetch sometimes. She is quite the conversationalist and will meow and talk to you, especially when it is time for food or play. She loves high energy play: chasing, running, jumping, zig zag wand games, and dramatic mid air flips.She enjoys balancing on chair backs, climbing ladders, and exploring ever-changing environments. She is fascinated by the outside world and enjoys window watching.
When playtime winds down, she is all about affection: She will cuddle in your lap, curl up beside you, or nestle between your legs. She is known to drape herself around your neck while you walk around. She follows her person from room to room especially the kitchen food is serious business. She does not love being alone and may cry when her person leaves; she truly bonds deeply with her human.
This kitty would do best in a home where she can receive lots of attention, daily playtime, and companionship. She is looking for someone who wants a true shadow, a playful partner, and a loving lap cat all wrapped into one special girl.

We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

No appointments necessary, just come and see us. For animals in foster homes, adoption counselors will provide additional information.

Meet the Pet
We do require a consultation form that can be filled out at our adoption center or online prior to coming - helps ensure a good match!

Sign Adoption Contract
We require intros with all family members and dogs (if adopting a dog), then if all goes well and it's a good match we'll move forward!

Take the Pet Home
Contract is signed, everyone has met, and the dog or cat goes home!

All potential adoptive homes must complete the adoption consultation form. All adoptive parents must agree to terms of the adoption contract which will be reviewed at the time of adoption. Dog adoptions are typically $350-$495 (depending on age, breed, etc) and cat adoptions start at $175.00 for adults and $225 for kittens (also depend on age). Senior animals are always lower adoption fees. All animals have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Cats have also been FeLV/FIV tested. Dogs are also licensed per county law.

Started in 1993 Friends for Life maintains an adoption center for it's rescued animals, a low-cost spay and neuter program (grant-funded), and a network of foster homes. Friends for Life also attends off-site locations to adopt the homeless cats and dogs and the organization is always looking for help. Friends for Life does not have a veterinarian on site or on staff. We utilize discounted services of veterinarians kind enough to do so for our rescued animals.
