Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Currently in foster care, Samara is a gentle, reserved girl who takes her time warming up, but once she feels safe, her curious nature and love of soft, reassuring pets shine through. She thrives in a calm environment where she can observe first and engage on her own terms, forming deep bonds with the people who earn her trust. She’s also inseparable from her confident sister Sammy, who helps her feel secure and brings out her sweetest, most affectionate side.

More about this shelter
The Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer run no kill animal shelter that takes in abandoned or surrendered animals, provides them with medical care and attempts to find them forever homes. Every animal that enters GDHS is quarantined, assessed and examined by a vet (if necessary), spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given vaccinations prior to being available for adoption. We do not receive guaranteed funding from any source and rely on the generosity of our community.
