My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rook is a sweet, affectionate, and playful boy with strong herding roots and an even stronger desire to be close to his people. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s playing outside, going for an adventure, or settling in for some quality cuddle time.

True to his herding background, Rook is intelligent, eager to learn, and happiest when he has both mental and physical outlets. He enjoys playtime, thrives on structure, and loves forming a bond with his humans. He has a gentle, loving nature and is always ready to offer affection once he feels comfortable. Rook is potty trained, crate trained, knows basic obedience and is trustworthy alone.

His name suits him perfectly — like a rook on the chessboard, he’s clever, observant, and quietly confident. Rook watches, learns, and moves with purpose, always staying close to his people and ready to step in wherever he’s needed.

Rook is available for adoption and would make a wonderful addition to a variety of homes. He does well with older kids and is great with all animals, making him an easy fit for families, farms, or homes with existing pets. Rook is ready to find his forever people and start his next chapter as a loved and cherished companion.
