My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We initially got Bella at 4 months old from Craigslist. She is a 5 y/o German Shepherd/Husky with a black & white coat. She’s about 55 lbs, fully vaccinated, and spayed.

She’s currently living with my mother-in-law in Pittsburg, but due to an unexpected eviction, she can no longer take care of her.

Bella had several months of professional dog training when she was 3 years old. She’s very smart and knows her commands well. However, since living with my MOL who is elderly and unable to keep up with training, she hasn’t had consistent reinforcement.

She does not do well with new people or dogs right away and needs time to warm up. She can be reactive, and because of this, she has unfortunately been turned away from shelters due to her temperament. That said, we truly believe that with the right person someone experience with larger, reactive dogs who understands boundaries and is willing to go slow Bella will do great. Once she bonds with you, she is incredibly loyal and loving.
