If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Pearl is a very loving, athletic, and energetic purebred standard poodle from champion bloodlines weighing 30 pounds. She is fully potty trained, crate trained, and knows all of her basic commands of sit, stay, lie down, and come. She is fiercely devoted to her people and is an excellent guard dog. She will alert to any stranger getting near your house, but is quiet otherwise. FETCH is the WAY TO HER HEART! She will play all day, then happily snuggle up in her bed to rest. She does fine at home alone for periods of time and is not destructive.
Pearl was brought home when covid hit and was not socialized around other dogs. She is fearful of bigger dogs and does not like smaller dogs. She hasn't met any cats, but I assume she does not prefer cats. Pearl is looking for a forever home with a single female, couple, or family with older children, without dogs! She will need time to warm up to her new family. Patience is necessary and she will be your forever best friend.
