Tucker is 8 years old and is affectionate and loyal. He is a great guard dog, alerting the house if someone pulls in drive or knocks on door. He is protective of his family and family pets (he has been around other dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens).
We live on acreage so he was not trained on a leash and will pull. He is being rehoused because he is too clingy with our small grandchildren and he pushes them around trying to get them to pet him. I would not recommend this dog for small children. If I put him behind a door he will do short intermittent high pitched barks. He is a pretty dog that would be a great companion to the right home. Only adopting to good home. He is used to being indoors and being part of the family. He loves to go for walks and be near his favorite people.
