This is Ruby š She is a very sweet, affectionate, and food-motivated girl with a big personality. Ruby loves cuddles, being outside, and having room to run — she is fast, strong, and full of energy.
Ruby is house trained and kennel trained, and does very well with both. She is not spayed.
My husband and I both work long hours in healthcare, and unfortunately we haven’t been able to give Ruby the time and consistency she needs for training. She is a bit hard-headed and hasn’t picked up basic commands as quickly as dogs we’ve had in the past, which is something we truly feel is unfair to her without the proper time and attention.
Ruby would thrive with someone who has experience training dogs and can continue working with her using structure and patience. Because she’s still learning how to control her body and excitement, she can be rough around small children — not aggressive at all, just overly enthusiastic — so she would do best in a home with older children or adults.
