Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Garnet! 🐾
Garnet is a playful and affectionate boy who knows how to balance fun and cuddles. He loves chasing his toys and can often be found perched by the window, happily watching the world go by.
He does great with other cats and has been getting along well with his foster sibling. With a slow and proper introduction, he also seems to tolerate dogs, making him a wonderful candidate for a multi-pet home.
One of Garnet’s favorite things is snuggling—his foster wakes up every morning with him curled up nearby, ready to start the day with some love. He’s truly a sweet companion who enjoys being close to his people.
Garnet came to us from a criminal neglect and hoarding case in Juneau County involving over 500 animals. Despite his difficult start, he has shown incredible resilience and continues to blossom in foster care.
Now, Garnet is ready for a loving forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and spoiled the way he deserves. 💙

Our adoption process prioritizes accessibility, equality, and inclusivity. An application can be completed online or in person, ensuring accessibility for all potential adopters. Additionally, our application is available in Spanish to cater to a diverse range of applicants.
Once an application is submitted and approved, we facilitate adoption meet-and-greets on-site at our shelter's adoption center. This allows potential adopters to interact with the animals they are interested in and make informed decisions about their adoption.
Overall, our adoption program is designed to make the process as smooth and inclusive as possible, ensuring that each animal finds a loving and permanent home.
