This is Betty š we adopted her from PetSmart when she was three months old. She is an incredibly sweet, social, and well-behaved cat who is great with kids. She loves attention and being part of the family and has such a gentle personality. Betty will be 8 years old in June and consistently weighs between 7&8 pounds.
Betty previously used the litter box perfectly. The issues began after we tried to introduce a companion cat, which unfortunately did not go well for her. Since then, she has struggled with peeing outside the litter box. We have tried multiple avenues to help retrain her, but with a baby about to start crawling, we are no longer able to manage this safely.
This decision is heartbreaking, but it is made with Bettys best interest in mind. She needs a calm home with focused attention, patience, and time to help her feel secure again. I truly believe she can thrive in the right environment, and my biggest hope is to find her a loving, understanding home
