My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Boo Boo. I’m a two year old male and I’m just a bit afraid of humans. I’m getting much more comfortable with my foster mom and love love her head scratches and pets. I also really love her kitties, but they’re not always nice to me. That’s okay, I just stay out of their way, but I am very curious to be their friend.

I would do best in a home with an adopter who is comfortable with shy kitties and will be very patient as I get used to my new surroundings. I don’t swat or try to bite, but I will let people know I’m afraid with lots of hissing. If you’re patient, I’ll let you pet me and purr so loudly the neighbors can hear. I definitely need to be in a home with another mellow and friendly kitty or I’ll get lonely. I don’t think I’d like dogs or little kids. All that movement and noise would frighten me.

I have a lot of love to give and am ready to explore life with a forever family. If you’re willing to give me some time to get comfortable with you, I will give you a lot of gentle nudges and sweet meows.

More about this rescue

Our volunteers are a group of individuals dedicated to the rescue of unwanted animals and educating our community on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals in order to stop the over population of unwanted domestic pets; primarily kittens and cats.

Our goal is to provide the public with resources on being responsible pet owners and the proper care necessary to have a healthy and happy pet. We rescue disadvantaged cats in the hope of finding them "Forever Homes."
