A few years ago, Marcy survived a serious accident where she was hit by a car, shattering her leg and pelvis. Thanks to her foster mom, she made a full recovery and now walks great, and don’t be fooled by her three legs, she’s fast as lightning!
Marcy has lots of love to give, but she’s happiest as the only pet in the home. She doesn’t get along with other dogs or cats, and she can get possessive if other pets get attention. Her foster mom loves her so much, but it just doesn’t work with the resident pups.
Marcy’s favorite things:
Squeaky toys (she loves tearing them apart!)
Car rides (although understandably afraid of being near cars after what she went through)
Kids and all the humans she meets
Attention and cuddles from her people
She’s leash-trained, though she can pull when excited, and she loves treats but is not super food motivated - so treats are just a bonus for her.
Marcy is looking for a home where she can be the center of attention, adored, and loved just as much as her foster family does. She’s brave, playful, resilient and ready to find a forever family who understands her and loves her unconditionally.
If you’re ready to meet a resilient, loving, one-of-a-kind companion, Marcy is waiting for you! Please note: Marcy is not currently in rescue. We are courtesy posting for her Foster to help her find the perfect home. If you are interested in learning more about Marcy or meeting her, please fill out this application and we will work with her Foster to get you contacted! https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo
