Help Wanted: Foster for Shy Dog

Position: Foster for Elise 

Location: Your home (quiet, calm environment preferred) 

Start Date: As soon as possible 
Experience Needed: Patience, understanding of shy or fearful dogs, and willingness to go at her pace

 Responsibilities:
* Provide a safe, quiet space for Elise to decompress
* Offer gentle consistency and encouragement
* Allow Elise to explore and engage on her terms
* Support positive interactions with calm, dog-friendly companions

About the Candidate: Elise is a red/mahogany female who looks like a Basenji mix. She is very shy and overwhelmed in the shelter, but she shows potential for trust and confidence with the right environment. She is okay with other dogs and would benefit from a patient, loving foster who can offer her the time and space she needs to feel secure.

Compensation: Endless gratitude, soft snuggles, and the satisfaction of helping a timid dog grow into her best self.
