My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bash is almost 5 years old (turns 5 in August) and is an absolute sweetheart. He is in perfect health, well cared for, and fully trained. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats and has a gentle, loving nature.
He was rescued from a puppy mill in Kentucky, so he can be a little timid around men at first—but with patience and kindness, he absolutely warms up and bonds deeply. Once he trusts you, he is loyal, affectionate, and so very special.
I adopted Bashy nearly four years ago, during a very different chapter of my life. Since then, I’ve gone through a divorce and now travel frequently for work. He deserves more consistency, attention, and stability than I can give right now.
During a recent snowstorm, I slipped while walking him and broke my shoulder in two places. I’m currently in a sling, and my mom has graciously taken him in while I heal. Letting him go will break my heart—but loving him means putting his needs first. Please contact me for more details.
