My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: December 21, 2022

Zafron is adorable in EVERY way – from his sweet face to his sweet personality. He is a good-natured, easy-going guy who is is irresistible!

Zafron was rescued from homeless earlier this year and he has embraced the indoor lifestyle with joy. He is very people-oriented and has blossomed into a wonderful cat companion. He will be there to greet you when you walk in the door, will curl up beside you when you are on your computer, and will snuggle up with you in bed.

Now that he is not struggling to survive as a stray, playtime had become one of Zaffy’s favourite pastimes. He has great fun chasing after dangling toys and exudes jubilance as he races through a cat tunnel. He also has his quiet times and is content to chill out on the windowsill and watch the birds and squirrels outdoor.

Zaffron is always up for a petting and will show his affection by rubbing against your legs, but, like many cats, he isn’t too fond of being picked up and held. He doesn’t seem oriented to other cats, so Zafron would be best with a single-pet home.

More about this rescue

We are small but growing group of volunteers who simply love cats. We are not-for-profit organization who rely on public donations and support to continue to operate and save the lives of many innocent cats and kittens. The majority of our cats & kittens are rescued from Kill shelters who are rescue friendly and allow us to take these cats who are slated for euthanasia because of a lack of space in the shelter. Foster homes are our life blood, we need foster homes year round. Volunteers to help us with fundraising events, garage sales, adoption centres etc are always welcomed.
