Goob here! You are looking at a handsome six-month-old Shar Pei/terrier mix mix that was recently picked up by one of the Humane Deputies. I was hanging around a neighborhood out in the county looking for some food and shelter. A kind home owner called Animal Control to pick me up. I was never claimed by my owners and I am now available for adoption. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I sure hope that someone will want to adopt me and make me a member of the family!

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
