This helps Wolf Trap Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
She’s black and white and Orange Crush all over.
Orange Crush is an 11-week-old Lab/Boxer mix. She’s a bright, confident puppy with a sporty streak — highly social, curious, and taking training incredibly well.
Her ideal day is energetic playtime followed by frequent, deep naps, and she’s happy both playing independently and joining in the fun with others. As she grows, she looks like the kind of dog who will love adventures and active outings and being part of a family. The “future hiking buddy” vibe is strong with this one.
Orange Crush is doing great with the basics for her age:
Potty training: making strong progress (even while navigating piles of snow)
Crate training: knows her “crate” command, is learning to relax in her crate, and is sleeping in her crate at night
Training skills: already learned and now proofing “touch,” “sit,” and “crate,” and is working on “watch me” and “down”
Handling: alert but not reactive to household sounds, and she tolerated a nail trim beautifully with treat support
She’s also been wonderful around kids — she enjoys playing with children ages 3 and 8.
If you’re looking for a smart, social puppy with a great training foundation — and the potential to grow into an active, loyal companion — Orange Crush may be your perfect match.
Adoption Day: February 21st at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt.
Some pups may stick around until 11:00 AM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun!
