Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Checkers is an adorable 3-month-old puppy is bursting with personality and ready to find his forever family! Weighing in at just 11.2 pounds, he’s the perfect size right now, small enough to scoop up for cuddles, but already full of confidence and charm. He is very outgoing, friendly, and social, and he truly believes everyone he meets is a potential new best friend. This pup loves attention and thrives on affection pets, cuddles, praise, and love are all at the top of his favorite-things list. If you’re looking for a puppy who wants to be part of everything you do, Checkers is your guy. Toys are another big passion of his! He loves to play, explore, and entertain himself (and you) with his toys, making him a fun and engaging companion. His playful spirit is balanced by a sweet, loving nature that makes him easy to fall for. As a young puppy, he’s still learning about the world and will benefit from continued training, socialization, and structure but he’s already off to a fantastic start thanks to his friendly attitude and eagerness to connect with people. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, he has all the potential to grow into an amazing lifelong companion. This lovable boy is currently at Butte Humane Society, where he’s waiting for a family who’s ready for puppy kisses, playful antics, and unconditional love. If you’re ready to add joy, laughter, and a whole lot of heart to your life, this sweet pup is ready to meet you! 🐾💙
All dogs that are adopted from Butte Humane Society come microchipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, placed on preventions for heartworm, and flea and tick-borne illnesses. Come down to Butte Humane Society and meet your next family member today!
