After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to look for a new home for our poodle mix dog, Holmes, that we rescued about 4 months ago.
He’s a great dog — very friendly, loving, and good with people. Unfortunately, we’ve realized he’s just not the right long-term fit for our home. We were told he would be best in a home with another dog, but we’ve quickly learned that he needs to be in a home with no other pets. Him and our original dog (of 7 years) are unfortunately not settling in together.
He would do best in a home where he’s the only pet and where someone can give him lots of attention and time. He truly is a sweet dog, cuddly, loving dog and deserves a great home. Holmes seems to be very intimated by other dogs and he needs a quiet home.
He was from the shelter, but he is now crate trained, potty-trained, knows how to sit, shake, and lay down. He is estimated to be between 4-5 years old, and is neutered.
