My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bailey is a gentle sweetheart with the cutest face, the most wonderful ears, and a soft, loving personality to match. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but her polite manners and calm nature help her warmup quickly, especially if there are treats involved (she takes them ever so gently!). This well-mannered girl is a dream to walk on leash, staying right with you and making every stroll relaxed and enjoyable. Bailey truly shines when she’s with her people. She seeks out affection, happily leans in for pets, and is perfectly content being loved on from head to tail. Bailey has grown up alongside a young child and is exceptional with kids. She adores them and loves nothing more than cuddling up for snuggles. Her gentle, patient demeanor makes her a wonderful family companion. She has also successfully lived with other dogs in the past and has the social skills to be a polite housemate. She’s crate trained, respectful when meeting new people, and brings a calm, comforting presence wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a sweet, kid-loving cuddle buddy with lovely manners and an even lovelier heart, Bailey is ready to become your family’s new best friend.

Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving with you. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet.
