Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ligurian is a 1-year-old, 16-pound curious fluffball—a true chunky monkey with a whole lot of charm. With his super-soft, long hair and plush build, he’s as cuddly-looking as they come. He happily accepts pets, especially long, gentle strokes from ears to tail along his spine. He also loves a good brushing session.
While he appreciates affection, Ligurian prefers to keep his independence and spend his time exploring the world around him. He’s far more interested in observing other cats in the kennels and taking in his surroundings than playing with toys. Ligurian is also excellent at communicating his boundaries—with the cutest little growls and hisses to let you know when he’s had enough.
Ligurian is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. He can be met daily at the shelter between 12p.m – 6p.m. For more information, please email adoptions@caspca.org.

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
